Week 11

This week was the second to last week that we will have in this class. It is important for us to be able to internalize the lessons that we will learn in this life. This week we talked about learning to become financially independent. Financially independent means that we are not necessarily rich, but that we are able to have enough money to sustain our lifestyle that we will have been living in our life. This could be the types of bills that are coming in to our life, or the food that we buy, or any other things in our life. There are ways that we are able to sustain ourselves, without becoming extremely rich. We can put a portion of our paycheck into a savings account, and another part of it into another account that will go towards emergencies. This will be for health bills, or blown out tires, or anything like that that we will not be able to plan for in our lives. When we have that slush fund, it can be allocated for anything that we stand in need of. We also briefly talked about credit cards, how there are some people in this world which will abuse the credit cards and they will get way into debt. This is dangerous. We have been told and advised to avoid debt as if it were the plague. The debt that we accumulate will haunt us for the rest of our lives if we are not careful with it.
